Love Rehab by Louise Bay
Release Date: December 7th
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Ever wanted to fast forward to your happily ever after?
My name is Mackenzie Locke and I’m a loveaholic. I haven’t got a handle on men. Not even a little bit.
So I staged an intervention and booked me and my two best friends into Love Rehab, complete with a love shaman, horse therapy and a bunch of stones that promise to change my life. I’m not leaving until I’m cured.
Lesson #1: the first night of your stay, don’t have a one night stand with the hottest guy you’ve ever seen in your life.
Lesson #2: make sure your one night stand isn’t planning on sticking around, teasing you, tempting you right back into his Levis.
Lesson #3: Whoops. I forgot this one. I was too busy daydreaming about Blake McKenna’s mouth on mine and the way his five o’clock shadow feels on my thighs.
So maybe I’m not the best student. Maybe I wasted my time and money on Love Rehab. But I can’t help that I want to spend every minute with Blake, naked under the stars. Perhaps he can teach me every lesson I ever needed to learn.

Louise Bay, my hope for this is that it is the start of another series as from the moment I turned the first page to the moment I flipped the cover on my kindle I was seeking and wanting more.
This is definitely a step away from Louise’s usually faced paced alpha male reads, don’t get me wrong it still has all that makes her books fabulous, but it’s a little slower paced, sweeter and heartfelt and feel this has a lot to do with the setting of the book and the fact this is about the unexpected and learning to love yourself as well as others and having no expectations of what others want from you.
Re-evaluate and succeed, told in a dual POV, which I love as you get insights from both the male and female lead. With a fabulous supporting cast that has me hoping for that series.
Louise’s writing never falters and this would be an awesome first taste if you have never read her !

A really lovely fun-filled story. I devoured this from start to finish. Written in dual PoV, it flows wonderfully and is a lovely well rounded story!
Mackenzie is funny! I loved her character. She just can’t get her life in love to follow the path she had set out for herself. After her latest heartbreak and disaster, she takes 2 of her best-friends and checks them all into Love Rehab. She’s hopeful that by attending for a week, she will be set back on the right path again.
Blake is back home to his family home. He’s at a huge crossroads in his life and has some big decisions to make about his future and has come to see his sister and get some perspective on life!
When Mackenzie and Blake encounter each other sparks fly and things take a new direction. But what will happen when Love Rehab is finished and they both have to go back to their ‘normal’ lives and follow their destined paths?
This story is a real adventure. It’s all about love, trust, friendships and self-discovery. I think we could all learn a thing or two from this book or by checking ourselves into our own Love Rehab! Thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. The supporting characters were all great, especially Mackenzies friends, Kennedy and Rose – I’d love to see more from them & their own love stories!
Lots of sizzling heat and chemistry, with just the right amount of drama and angst. It was a light hearted, easy read, but with a few surprises you won’t expect! It was the perfect mixture of everything!
I love Louise Bay’s writing style and the more I read from her the more I am enjoying her books. I can’t wait to see what she releases next. If you’ve not read anything by Louise Bay before, I urge you to start with this book!! You won’t regret it!
